It Will Be a Weekend of Outdoor Fun for the Goldfins Swim Club
The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club will head to Moose Jaw, SK to compete in the 2024 Mike Mintenko Summerfest Swim Meet – June 15 & 16. 2024. There will be 49 Goldfins taking on their competition in the open elements as they will be racing in their only outdoor meet of the 2023 - 2024 swim season.
Jennifer Robinson, the Head Development Coach, mentioned, "This upcoming swim meet marks the last long course competition of the 2024 swim season for our youngest Goldfins swimmers. It's always a joyous occasion for swimmers who get to enjoy the outdoors with their teammates and coaches during this special annual event."
The Meet’s Schedule will be as follows:
Saturday, June 15, 2024 – Swimmer Arrival – 8:30 AM & Competition – 10:00 AM
Events: 200 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, 400 Individual Medley, 50 Fly
Lunch Break
Events: 50 Breaststroke, 100 Freestyle, 200 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, 1500 Freestyle, 4 X 50 Medley Relays, 4 X 100 Medley Relays
Sunday, June 16, 2024 – Swimmer Arrival – 8:40 AM & Competition – 9:00 AM
Events: 100 Fly, 50 Backstroke, 100 Freestyle, 200 IM, 50 Freestyle, 200 Breaststroke, & 4 X 50 Freestyle Relay
