Goldfins Swimmers Will Compete at the 12th Annual Michelle Moore Invitational
The Saskatoon Goldfins are set to participate once more in Regina, SK at the 12th Annual Michelle Moore Invitational Swim Meet from May 10 to 12, 2024, hosted at the Lawson Aquatic Centre. The competition will follow an age group format, with swimmers competing in various categories: Female – 10 & Under, 11 – 12, 13 – 14, 15 & Over, Male 11 & Under, 12 – 13, 14 – 15, 16 & Over. The event will include both preliminary heats and finals, offering swimmers the chance to compete against top swimmers in their age groups throughout the weekend.
The Goldfins Swim Club will be represented by 79 swimmers, competing in 537 Individual Events.
The Michelle Moore Meet’s Schedule is as follows:
Day 1: Friday, May 10, 2024 – Timed Finals & Preliminary Heats:
Goldfins Swimmer Arrival: 3:30 PM & Competition Start: 5:00 PM
Senior Swimmer Events: 50M Backstroke, 400M IM (Prelim), 50M Breaststroke, 50M Fly, 1500M Freestyle
Junior Swimmer Events: 200M IM, 400M Freestyle
Day 2: Saturday, May 11, 2024 – Preliminary Heats: 9:00 AM & Finals: 5:00 PM
Goldfins Swimmer Arrival: 7:30 AM & 3:40 PM & Competition Start: 9:00 AM & 5:00 PM
Open Events: 200M Freestyle,
Junior Events: 100M Backstroke, 50M Fly, 100M Breaststroke
Senior Events: 200M Backstroke, 100M Fly, 200M Breaststroke, 400M IM (Final)
Day 3: Sunday, May 12, 2024 – Preliminary Heats: 8:30 AM & Finals: 4:30 PM
Goldfins Swimmer Arrival: 7:10 AM & 3:10 PM & Competition Start: 8:300 AM & 4:30 PM
Open Events: 100M Freestyle, 50M Freestyle
Senior Events: 200M Fly, 200M IM, 100M Backstroke, 100M Breaststroke, 400M Freestyle
Junior Events: 100m Fly, 50M Backstroke, 50M Breaststroke
Senior Events: Female 11 & Over, Male 12 & Over
Junior Events: Female 10 & Under, Male 11 & Under
Open Events: Open to All Age Groups
A Final for All Age Groups & B Final For All Events (50, 100, 200 & 400M) if 20 or more entries at entry deadline.
