Swim Meet Preview: Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club at the 2025 Spring Podfest

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is gearing up for an exciting weekend as they travel to North Battleford, Saskatchewan, to compete in the 2025 Spring Podfest. Scheduled for March 15 and 16, 2025, this inaugural invitational swim meet marks a significant milestone as the first sanctioned event hosted by the North Battleford Orcas since 2018. The Goldfins are thrilled to be part of this event and look forward to many more opportunities to compete in the welcoming city of North Battleford.

Meet Schedule

The swim meet will unfold over three sessions packed with thrilling races:

Session 1: Saturday, March 15, 2025

  • Goldfins Swimmer Arrival: 7:30 AM
  • Competition Begins: 9:10 AM
  • Events:
    • 200M Freestyle
    • 100M Individual Medley
    • 50M Backstroke
    • 200M Breaststroke
    • 100M Fly
    • 4 X 50M Medley Relay

Session 2: Saturday, March 15, 2025

  • Goldfins Swimmer Arrival: 3:40 PM
  • Competition Begins: 5:10 PM

    • 200M Individual Medley
    • 100M Freestyle
    • 50M Breaststroke
    • 100M Freestyle
    • 400M Freestyle

Session 3: Sunday, March 16, 2025

  • Goldfins Swimmer Arrival: 7:40 AM
  • Competition Begins: 9:10 AM

    • 50M Fly
    • 200M Backstroke
    • 100M Breaststroke
    • 50M Freestyle
    • 4 X 50M Freestyle Relay

The team will be expertly guided by coaches Colin Aspen and Reed Aspen, whose leadership will be instrumental throughout the competition.
