Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club: Harvesting Victories at the 2026 Junior Provincial Championships

Goldfins Reap Success with Sweet Wins
The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club has once again proven their mettle, defending their Junior Provincial Championships Title at the 2026 Saskatchewan Summer Junior Provincial Championships held from June 12 to 14 in Saskatoon, SK. Displaying a fruitful performance, the Goldfins swimmers gathered an impressive 1692.5 points, thereby earning the prestigious Top Large Club Award—a testament to their dedication, skill, and teamwork.
Goldfins’ Fruit Basket of Personal Bests
The competition was not only about the points but also about personal growth. Among these outstanding performers, Minau Burrows shone brightly, becoming the newest member of the 2026 Goldfins Senior Provincial Team with six qualifying time standards. Leo Genest achieved his first Junior Provincial Time Standard in the 50M Breaststroke. This achievement will set Leo up very nicely for the 2027 swim season.

Mateo's versatile prowess in multiple disciplines, from Freestyle to Backstroke, bore golden fruits, while Alisha’s strength in Individual Medley and Breaststroke added to the club’s triumph. Their achievements, along with those of their teammates, solidified the Goldfins’ dominance in the pool.
