Saskatoon Goldfins Shine with Record-Breaking Success at Bridge City Spring Classic

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club made a splash at the Bridge City Spring Classic swim meet, held from April 10 to 13, 2025, in Saskatoon, SK. With 158 swimmers participating in over 1,000 individual races, the team collectively achieved an astounding 833 personal best long course times.

Outstanding Performances and Achievements

A standout moment for the Goldfins was Foster Fourney's achievement of a qualifying time standard for the Canadian Junior Trials in the 50M Freestyle, clocking in at 24.53 seconds. Foster is now set to compete in the 2025 Canadian Swimming Trials from June 7 to 12 in Victoria, B.C.

Additionally, the Goldfins welcomed new members to their Junior and Senior Provincial Teams. Congratulations to the newest Goldfins Junior Provincial Team members: Kiarash Aminaie, Carlin Armstrong, Emery Bernier, Wallis Fisher-Katz, Vanessa Godbout, Ella Reiter, Piper Veikle, Shawn Wu, Yolanda Xu, Lucy Yang, and Naomi Zdunich. The Goldfins Senior Provincial Team also welcomed Ethan Rieger, Aiden Sereda-Wosminity, Wyatt Wang, and Charlotte Zhang.
