Racing for Gold in the Prairies - Saskatoon Goldfins Aim for Victory at 2025 Senior Provincial Championships
The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is eagerly gearing up for an exhilarating event, the 2025 Man/SK Short Course Winter Senior Provincial Championships. Scheduled to take place from March 6 to 9, 2025, at the Pan AM Pool in Regina, SK, this meet marks the first of the two Provincial Series Championships for the 2024-2025 swimming season.
Goldfins Ready to Make Waves
Steven Hitchings, the Head Coach of the Goldfins, expressed the team's enthusiasm as they prepare to compete against the top swimmers from the prairies. "The Goldfins are once again excited to be racing the top swimmers in the prairies in a fun team environment that comes from every Man/Sask meet," Hitchings noted. He emphasized the significance of this being the first short course Man/Sask event in several years, predicting some truly fast swimming. Hitchings added, "The coaching staff is looking forward to the thrill and the challenge of working with more than 70 athletes. With a limited number of relays available, the competition for placements will be fierce. Man/Sask is a great ‘team meet’, and the Goldfins hope to bring the title home once again."
