Abigail Gauld (G1) - Since the start of the season, Abigail has had an amazing impact on the G1 group. She brings to the pool model behavior in maintaining a positive attitude, training ethic, effort, and support for her team mates!

In Winnipeg at the PWI swim meet, Abs had an outstanding performance in the pool. She qualified for multiple finals swims, bringing home a medal in all three breaststroke races as well as the medley relay.  Way to go Abs, keep up the great swimming!

Daniel Bedford (W3) - Following his introduction to the club this past summer, Daniel has proven himself as a dedicated athlete with a determination to succeed. Through much hard work, he has picked up several new strokes, skills, and abilities, and adapted well to the environment of competitive swimming. He is a positive, encouraging, and supportive teammate, and has garnered much appreciation from his coach for his ability to anticipate instructions, and relay practice material to his peers.  W3 sees benefit in his intent to succeed not only as an individual, but as a whole group. 

Daniel has also shown terrific improvement in both competition and in-house testing. Most recently, Daniel achieved a 13.55 second (12.9%) drop in his 100m Freestyle at the RODS Winter Solstice meet, as well as a 6.66 second (11.58%) improvement in the December 50 K test.

Congratulations, Daniel, for achieving the Swimmer of the Month – Male award for December 2024!
