Lasers 2024 Invitational Post Meet Report
The Saskatoon Goldfins had a highly successful performance at the 2024 Lasers Invitational held from May 31 to June 2, 2024, in Saskatoon, SK. With 95 swimmers competing in 16 individual events, the Goldfins showcased their talent at this thrilling competition.
During the event, the Goldfins Swim Club proudly welcomed three new members to the Goldfins Provincial teams. Claire Rodriguez achieved her first Junior Provincial qualifying time standard in the 200M Breaststroke with a time of 3:42.71. Dejan Jarcan secured his spot in the Senior Provincials by meeting the 14-year Swim Saskatchewan long course qualifying time standard in the 200M Breaststroke with a time of 2:58.61. Additionally, Joshua Block attained his initial Senior Provincial qualifying time standard in the 800M Freestyle with a time of 10:28.63. Josh will be part of the Goldfins Senior Provincial team competing in Regina in July 2024.
In total, the Goldfins swimmers achieved an impressive 418 Long Course personal best times.
Collectively, the Goldfins swimmers posted 418 Long Course personal best times.
