Junior Goldfins Swimmers Set to Shine at the Little Caesars 2024 Fall Fun Meet

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is excited to host the inaugural Little Caesars Fun Meet of the 2024-2025 swim season. This event is dedicated to our youngest Goldfins swimmers and promises an evening filled with exciting races and joyful moments. Junior Goldfins swimmers competing in Bronze, Silver, and Gold events will strive to enhance their personal best times while showcasing their competitive swimming techniques and skills.

This unique competition includes bell heat prizes, door prize packages, and, of course, plenty of PIZZA. The Goldfins extend their gratitude to Lana Makari and her incredible team at Little Caesars for their unwavering support of the Junior Goldfins Program. Lana generously provides pizza for over 200 swimmers and volunteers, ensuring this swim meet is infused with extra “Pizzazz”.

The meet schedule is as follows:

Swimmer arrival on deck: 5:30 PM, Warm-Up & Group Meetings: 5:30 – 5:55 PM

Competition Start: 6:00 PM

Swimmers are required to be registered in order to participate in this event.

Please notify us of any registered swimmers who cannot attend the meet, as their absence leads to empty lanes and can delay the event's timeline.

Tight Fitting Bathing Suit, Goggles, Goldfins Cap, 2 Towels, Junior Goldfins Blue Shirt, Warm Sweatpants or shorts, Deck Shoes, Snacks & Water Bottle, Pizza Take-A-Way container.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents who have volunteered to officiate at this meet. Your support is greatly appreciated. Parent officials are requested to check in at the on-deck classroom by 5:30 PM. A special thank you goes to the Goldfins senior swimmers who will be lending a hand at this event.

Please note that parents and spectators are required to sit in the designated seating area located in the mezzanine bleachers. Parents will not be allowed to sit on the deck.

Due to the swim meet, there will NOT BE any regularly scheduled training sessions held on Friday, November 22, 2024, for the Goldfins’ White 3 or for the B1 & B2 Groups.
