Goldfins to Plunge into Excitement at the 59th Annual Mike Mintenko Summerfest!
The Saskatoon Goldfins are gearing up to make waves at the 59th Annual Mike Mintenko Summerfest Swim Meet, set to take place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, on June 21 and 22, 2025. This prestigious event will be held at the iconic Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool, renowned for its unique challenges and vibrant atmosphere. Swimmers will not only face fierce competition but also the unpredictable elements of outdoor racing.
A Unique Competition Setting
The Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool is known for more than just competitive swimming. Past meets have seen an unexpected avian presence, as local birds have occasionally mistaken the pool for the nearby Crescent Park competition pond. This element adds an extra layer of excitement and unpredictability to the event, reminding participants and spectators alike of the beauty and challenges of outdoor sports.
