Goldfins Swimmers will Compete at the 2024 Alberta LC Championships
The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is traveling to Edmonton, AB to compete in the 2024 Alberta Summer Provincials Long Course Championships – July 25 – 28, 2024 – Edmonton, AB. Swim Clubs from across Canada will provide the Goldfins swimmers a unique opportunity to swim against competitors that they normally do not have the chance to compete against.
Goldfins Head Age Group Coach, Gary Cheung, emphasized the significance of Goldfins swimmers participating in the championship event. "The Alberta Summer LC championships provide our Goldfins swimmers with a final chance to showcase their skills for the season. The competitive environment will enable our swimmers to apply all they have learned throughout the year in this ultimate competition."
The Meet’s Schedule is as follows:
Day 1: Thursday, July 25, 2024 – Prelims - 8:30 AM & Finals - 4:30 PM
Noah Findlay: 50 Fly, 100 Backstroke
Ian Genest: 50 Fly
Oliver Genest: 200 Freestyle, 50 Fly
Day 2: Friday, July 26, 2024 – Prelims - 8:30 AM & Finals - 4:30 PM
Noah Findlay: 100 Freestyle
Ian Genest:50 Breaststroke
Oliver Genest: 100 Freestyle, 50 Breaststroke
Day 3: Saturday, July 27, 2024 – Prelims - 8:30 AM & Finals - 4:30 PM
Noah Findlay: 200 Fly, 50 Backstroke
Ian Genest: 100 Breaststroke
Oliver Genest: 200 Fly
Day 4: Sunday, July 28, 2024 - Prelims - 8:30 AM & Finals - 4:30 PM
Noah Findlay: 100 Fly, 200 IM
Ian Genest: 200 Breaststroke, 200 IM
Oliver Genest: 100 Fly, 50 Freestyle
