Goldfins Swimmers of the Month - December 2023

Josh Block  – Blue 14 – Josh Block is being recognized as the swimmer of the month for his impressive accomplishments in the pool. In his 800 Free at PWI he took off 53.26 seconds, hitting an AA time. Josh's practice effort and determination to improve his technique and turns are turning into great training habits. His progress has led him to transition into the G14 group, showcasing his potential to reach even greater heights in the world of swimming. Congratulations to Josh for his outstanding achievements and for being an inspiration to fellow swimmers!

Carsyn Busa - Gold 12 - Carsyn has had an incredible start to her swimming season! Through good attendance, hard work, and attention to technique, she has made great improvements across all four strokes. Carsyn's dedication and work ethic really paid off when she raced at the Prairie Winter International in December, qualifying for multiple finals, swimming best times, and achieving new 12-year-old AA times! Way to go Carsyn!

I wish Carsyn luck with her swimming ahead as she makes the move from Gold 12 to Gold 14. Go get ‘em Carsyn!
