Goldfins Swim Club Will Board the Bus 50 Strong to Compete at PWI 2023
The Saskatoon Goldfins board the bus to Winnipeg, MB to compete in the 2023 Prairie Winter International swim meet. This meet is a four-day competition with preliminaries and finals sessions. Over the course of the weekend, Goldfins swimmers will compete in 340 individual events and in 20 relay events.
2023 Prairie Winter International meet schedule is as follows:
Day 1: Thursday, December 7, 2023 – Finals Competition: 5:00 PM
Events: 800M & 1500M Freestyle
Day 2: Friday, December 8, 2023 – Preliminary Heats: 8:30 AM & Finals: 5:30 PM
Events: 200M Freestyle, 100M Breaststroke, 400M IM, 100M Butterfly, 4 X 50M Freestyle Relays
Day 3: Saturday, December 9, 2023 – Preliminary Heats: 8:30 AM & Finals: 5:30 PM
Events: 200M Fly, 100M Backstroke, 400M Freestyle, 50M Freestyle, 200M Breaststroke, 4 X 50M Medley Relays
Day 4: Sunday, December 10, 2023 – Preliminary Heats: 8:30 AM & Finals: 5:00 PM
Events: 200M IM, 200M Backstroke & 100M Freestyle
