During the 2024-2025 swim season, the Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is pleased to honor the Goldfins Swimmers of the Month. These remarkable athletes have showcased outstanding dedication, enthusiasm, and resilience in both their training and competitive environments.

January 2025

Steven Zhang (B2) - In 2025, Steven Zhang has transformed his approach to swimming, showcasing remarkable improvements in attendance, effort, and performance. With two meets already under his belt, Steven is making significant strides in his technique and turns, which have resulted in faster swimming. Seven arrives at training sessions more focused and intentional than ever. This new dedication is translating into a more confident and accomplished swimmers with an eye for even more improvements. His attitude in training is geared toward improving and working hard each practice. The improved commitment and effort have been noticeable from the deck, and it is encouraging to see Steven continue to push his swimming to higher levels.

Miller Gotto - (G1) - Miller has been working hard in practice since the start of the season. Making improvements in every aspect of her swimming whether it's stroke, start, or turn, she's been doing her best to push it all to be better and faster!

Miller's been breaking club records this season so far. Back in November she broke the girls 10 & under sc 50 backstroke club record. She then went on and broke the lc girls 50 back club record, and wrapped up January by breaking her own record again at the Winter White Out meet! Congratulations Miller, keep up the great swimming!
