Goldfins Turned Up the Heat at the 2025 RODS Winter Classic
Though it was chilly outside, the Goldfins swimmers were making a splash at the 2025 RODS Winter Classic, held from January 17 to 19, 2025, in Regina, SK. The standout moment of the event was Miller Gotto's record-setting achievement in the 50M Backstroke with a time of 38.64. Miller's relentless determination led her to surpass the previous record of 38.65 set by Alexis Pufahl in May 2002, establishing a new standard of excellence.
Provincial Championship Qualifiers
The club proudly celebrated six swimmers who have qualified for the 2025 Provincial Junior & Senior Championships. Anton Magsuci achieved his first Saskatchewan Senior Provincial AA Time Standard, securing his place at the Senior Provincial Championships in March 2025. In addition, Alex Kovalenko, Jacob Findlay, Elliotte Mah, and Everett Rempel all attained their first Junior Provincial A Time Standards, qualifying for the Junior Provincial Championships in February 2025. These athletes have shown remarkable skill and dedication, earning their status among the province's elite.
