The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is poised for an exhilarating competition at the Western Transmountain Festival III, set to unfold on February 20 and 21, 2026, at the Brookfield Residential YMCA at Seton in Calgary, Alberta. With over 500 swimmers from Alberta and Saskatchewan competing, this prestigious event promises to be a thrilling spectacle of talent and sportsmanship.

The Goldfins are fielding a formidable team of 10 age group swimmers, each with their sights set on achieving new Long Course Qualifying Time Standards. Among them is Goldfins Olympian, Blake Tierney, whose participation under the Goldfins cap adds an exciting layer of anticipation. His presence is not only a source of inspiration but also a testament to the club's rich legacy of excellence. The Goldfins swimmers are eager to watch him race, as they prepare to challenge themselves against top teams from Alberta, sharpening their skills and testing their limits over the course of the two-day event.

The competition is structured to deliver a seamless experience for athletes and spectators alike, highlighting the best of competitive swimming:

  • Day 1 - Friday, February 20, 2026:

    • Prelims: 8:30 AM

    • Finals: 5:00 PM

  • Day 2 - Saturday, February 21, 2026:

    • Prelims: 8:30 AM

    • Finals: 5:00 PM
