February 2025

Avyn Munshaw (G3P) - I am excited to recognize Avyn Munshaw as our February 2025 Female Swimmer of the Month! Her hard work, dedication, and positive attitude have set a fantastic example for the Goldfins.

Avyn is an unstoppable force in the water. She consistently brings her best effort to every training session. Whether it’s early morning practices, tough sets, or even when she’s not feeling 100%, she always gives 100% effort. Her perseverance in the pool has led to noticeable progress, particularly in her training performances and competitions.

Outside of swimming, Avyn also plays the piano and enjoys baking at home. From time to time, she brings her homemade baked goods to share with her teammates after practiceβ€”a true team player both in and out of the pool!

I always appreciate Avyn’s commitment to staying focused, being coachable, and doing whatever is necessary to improve her performance in and out of the water.

Congratulations, Avyn Munshaw, on being our February Female Swimmer of the Month! Keep up the amazing work! πŸŽ‰πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘

Everett Rempel (B2) - Please join me in congratulating Everett Rempel on being named Goldfins Male Swimmer of the Month! Since the beginning of the season, Everett has been diligently working on his technique and swim conditioning. His consistent effort and attendance have driven remarkable improvements, progressing from A times to now approaching AA times.

At each meet, Everett continues to hit new milestones and shows no signs of slowing down. As he nears his 15th birthday, Everett has set his sights on swimming more frequently with the B3 group and beyond.

Everett’s dedication and hard work have been evident every day, making it a joy to have him as part of the Goldfins team. Congratulations, Everett, on this well-deserved recognition!
