2023 Swim Alberta Long Course Provincial Championships Goldfins Post Meet Report
The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club was represented by seven (7) swimmers at the 2023 Swim Alberta Long Course Summer Provincial Championships – July 27 – 30, 2023, Calgary, AB. Qualified Goldfins swimmers competed in over 50 individual and in relay events.
The Goldfins swimmers collectively posted 26 personal best long course times, posting 2 new Saskatchewan Long Course Qualifying Time Standards. Ian Genest achieved his Canadian Western Championships Qualifying Standard in the 200M Breaststroke posting a new time of 2:31.22, winning the Boys 16 & Over Gold Medal.
The Goldfins swimmers brought home 8 medals from this meet.
